Trail Information
The Amana Colonies Recreational Trail Kolonieweg was built in 1998 with funds raised by Amana Colonies Trails, Inc. a nonprofit group working in cooperation with the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and the Amana Society, Inc.
• In addition to the generous support of local individuals and businesses, major grant funding was received from the Iowa
Department of Transportation.
• Signs located on the trail were paid for by a grant from The Greater Cedar Rapids Foundation.
